A little back ground history... found it on the internet. Bought it from Advance Marina in Ocean City,Md.... it's a 1999 JC Mfg. Neptoon, 24', and a 2000 Suzuki 60hp 4 stroke, Coast Guard plate says 16 people or 2900 lbs. we lost 4 seats durning the rebuild... Wendy and I took a weekend and drove to get it... started off rough, the marina called about 1 1/2 hour before we left to tell us the trailer dealer decided that since they only had the one trailer to deliver, they were gonna wait till the following week to deliver it... that just didn't work for us...days had been takin off,and hotel rooms had been reserved. So, the calling began. and after about 45 minutes of searching trailer dealers in Md. we found one... Dave's trailer world in Glen Burnie, Md. Treated us great, they even helped out financing wise cause of the pinch we were in, prepaid for a trailer with the boat, marina agreed to refund but would be in a check so Dave's had to wait for Advanced's check to clear. We wanted a brand new trailer since we would be towing everywhere... and thank god we got new, It'll take an act of congress to get us to haul back down through NY, trip back beat the snot out of us. The boat seems to have been used as a rental or at a resort, it was beat on... we basically bought a motor and got a boat... but thats ok...I have had people say to me as we were being pushed off..."better start it first make sure it starts..."I replied..."been running 10 minutes now". We stripped it to the deck... was at Home Depot one day and found outdoor patio carpet on clearence... it came in 6'x8' sectons...conveinently the boat is 24'x8'... ripped the old tin off the rails, it was sratched and dented and faded, so...found a guy locally... new sheet metal cut to fit and air brushed. Got new seats online at a place called custompontoonkits.com, was surfing ebay one day and found this guy that was selling Bimini's, he had 10... selling $200 each... so basically we got a 2fer. Wendy designed and I built the arm rests, and the changing room/bathroom, and our most recent additon that we feel we got a really good deal on... the new cover... next thing is going to be redoing of the helm to include storage and possibly a sink for basic rinsing of hands and fish.

$2000 2008 trailer

$2500 Boat and motor

$1000 Seats

$80 Carpet

$400 Bimini's

Now, you say for all that you could have bought new, well new they require money up front, this has been done over the last year and a half... right now not including the trailer we are at "book value" and it's paid for...
